This weekend in Los Angeles, Beyonce and Amazon Music are hosting an event dubbed “Club Renaissance,” which is ostensibly a celebration of the singer’s most recent album, which has been out for six months.
There were few details available at the time this article was published, but the fine print states that Parkwood, Beyonce’s company, “invites you to experience ‘Renaissance’ in spatial audio,” so it appears that at the very least it will be a high-fidelity listening experience.

Fans received alerts for a website called “Club Renaissance” on Friday afternoon, but it appears that seats sold out in a matter of minutes. The only information that has been provided is that the event will take place on Saturday and Sunday nights beginning at 9 p.m.
The website includes a lengthy caution about the danger of contracting Covid-19 during the event as well as “consent and disclosure” information concerning tickets.

Inquiries for comment from Variety were not immediately answered by representatives for Beyonce or Amazon Music.
A number of celebrities attended the Studio 54-themed album release party in August at the Times Square Edition hotel in New York, which was dubbed the inaugural “Club Renaissance.” Kendrick Lamar, Chloe Bailey, and Normani were among the well-known attendees. Beyoncé and country-specific Sony Music divisions also unveiled “Club Renaissance” in their respective territories a few hours prior to the album’s release.
Bey attended a Parisian version of the event that featured Tyler the Creator, Halsey, and Doja Cat among its attendees. Access was limited to those events
“It was a scary moment for the world, and making this record gave me a place to escape and dream. In a period when not much else was moving, it gave me the freedom and adventure I needed. My goal was to establish a secure environment free from bias. a location where overthinking and perfectionism are not allowed. a location where one can yell, let off steam, and experience liberation. It was a lovely exploring adventure. I sincerely hope you enjoy this music. I’m hoping it motivates you to let go of the jiggle. Ha! And to feel as special, powerful, and alluring as you are.”
