Sanju Samson-led RR will look to carry on their winning momentum after securing their fourth win of the season in their last outing against Gujarat Titans, while KL Rahul-led LSG will look to bounce back after a loss to Punjab Kings.
In the recent outings, RR completed a run-chase of 178 by 3 wickets with 4 balls to spare against GT in Ahmedabad. The inaugural champions opened their campaign with a 72-run away victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad, but were pegged back by PBKS in their first home match by 5 runs.
However, the last season runners up have responded with three wins on the trot, starting with a 57-run win over Delhi Capitals in Delhi followed by a 3-run win over Chennai Super Kings and the most recent victory over GT to take the number one spot.

This will be the third meeting between the two sides in IPL. This will also be the first meeting between the two sides at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, where LSG will playing for the very first time.
