RR vs LSG, IPL 2023: 4 Player Who Will Score Most Runs In Today’s Match

Lucknow, on the other hand, lost their last match against Punjab Kings (PBKS) by two wickets. Prior to the match, they had defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) respectively. The two teams had reached the playoffs of the IPL 2022 as well.

As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the first time in the IPL 2023, let’s have a look at four players who can score the most runs in the match.

Sanju Samson: The Rajasthan Royals captain is currently the third-highest run-scorer for his team currently. He has scored 157 runs in five matches at an average of 31.40 and a strike rate of 165.26. Two fifties have already come off his blade.

Samson smashed 62 runs off just 33 balls to help Rajasthan gun down 178 against Gujarat Titans in his last outing. In the two matches prior to it, Samson had got out without opening his account. Samson has scored 398 runs in 17 matches at a strike rate of 134 in Jaipur.

Yashasvi Jaiswal: The Rajasthan opener has scored 136 runs in five matches at an average of 27.20 and a strike rate of 149.45 in the IPL 2023 so far. After hitting two fifties in his first three outings, the 21-year-old has scored 10 and 1 in his last two outings.

In the first match at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium of the season, the southpaw would be aiming to score big in front of the home crowd. Overall, he has featured in 48 T20 matches and scored 1089 runs at an average of 24.20 and a strike rate of 135.11.

KL Rahul: The Lucknow captain and opener has scored almost 600 runs in every season since 2018. In the ongoing edition of the IPL, he has scored 155 runs at an average of 31 and a strike rate of 113.13 in five matches.

He scored his first fifty of the season against Punjab in his previous outing. The 31-year-old smashed 74 runs off 56 balls. Rahul has played a total of 99 runs at an average of 99 in two matches in Jaipur.

In 13 matches against RR, he has scored 540 runs in 13 matches at an average of 49.09 and a strike rate of 130.43.

Deepak Hooda: The top-order Lucknow batter has failed to get going in the IPL 2023. However, Jaipur can be the venue where he can bring a change in his fortune. Notably, Hooda represents Rajasthan in domestic cricket and has a lot of experience at Jaipur.

Hooda has played only one IPL match in Jaipur. He was dismissed for a duck in the match. Overall, he has played six innings against Rajasthan and scored 149 runs at an average of 29.80 and a strike rate of 156.84. The 27-year-old has scored two fifties against Rajasthan.
