PBKS, who may see the return of skipper Shikhar Dhawan, head into the match on the back of their fourth win of this season, while LSG led by KL Rahul are fresh from their third loss of the campaign. Both PBKS and LSG have won 4 in 7 so far.

In the second match, which was a 7 pm start, put into bat, PBKS struggled on their way to post a target of 154, which was chased down by the defending champions GT in the penultimate delivery of the match. Even in that game, the quick bowlers were among wickets.

In the most recent match, RCB rode on fifties from Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis to post a total of 174 before Mohammed Siraj’s 4 for 21 spell helped bundle out PBKS for 150.
