Punjab Kings have kept themselves in the run for the playoffs with four wins in seven games and a win on Friday will put them among the top four at least. The side defeated Mumbai Indians in their last game and have already defeated LSG earlier this season in Lucknow.
LSG, however, have defeated PBKS once last season as well with the head-to-head tied at 1-1 The KL Rahul-led side, however, has lost two of their last three games with the latest one coming against defending champions Gujarat Titans from a favourable position. LSG too are on eight points from seven games and will be tied at the top with 10 points if they win.

Stoinis’s bowling has been important with four wickets in the last two games while Avesh Khan has returned to form off late. Krunal Pandya has been utilised as a bowler when the conditions are spin friendly and has picked wickets as well while Naveen Ul-Haq was impressive with his 1/19 spell in the last game. Amit Mishra has been leading the spin attack while Ravi Bishnoi’s form has dipped.
