PBKS vs GT Playing 11 IPL 2023 – Probable Lineup of Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans Match 18

Punjab are coming into the match after their defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last match, while Gujarat Titans also suffered the same fate at the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders. Two teams are on the same points after playing the same number of games (4 points in 3 matches).

PBKS vs GT IPL 2023 Match 18 Team News, Injury Update

Punjab Kings will be inspired by their captain Shikhar Dhawan, who played a stellar knock in the last match against Sunrisers Hyderabad, despite it coming in a losing cause. Dhawan’s brilliant inning of 99 was a testament to the veteran’s mettle and class, and the team will be aiming to emulate their skipper against a strong Gujarat Titans side.

PBKS may opt to go with the same team but there is a possibility of Kagiso Rabada coming into the side, replacing Nathan Ellis.

Gujarat Titans captain Hardik Pandya will be back in the squad. The GT captain missed the last match with illness. Yash Dayal, the unfortunate bowler who were put to the sword by Rinku Singh in the last match, is almost certain to be replaced as Shivam Mavi can come in the side.

Mavi was bought for big money last season, but hasn’t yet played a match this season. Punjab’s English all-rounder Liam Livingstone is yet to join the team, but is expected to arrive by next week, which will be a big boost for them.
