The Babar Azam-led side produced a clinical show with the bat in the first of five-match series on Friday (April 14) and won the match by 88 runs against the tourists who looked rusty.

Hello and welcome to the live updates of the 2nd T20I between Pakistan vs New Zealand in Lahore. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam has won the toss and elected to bat first against Tom Latham and Co.

The hosts scored 182 in 19.5 overs in the first T20I even as captain Babar (8) and Mohammed Rizwan (9) were dismissed in quick succession in the first innings. But Fakhar Zaman and Saim Ayub played brillaint cameos with the bat and guided their team to a big total.

Matt Henry became the fourth New Zealand bowler to pick up a hat-trick in the match and impressed everyone with his performance. However, the BlackCaps – who looked a little rusty in the first game – failed badly in the big run chase.

Latham and his teammates failed to offer any resistance with the bat and were bundled out for a paltry 94 in the run chase. New Zealand were all out in 15 overs in the big run chase.

Haris Rauf starred with the ball for Pakistan as he grabbed a four-for in 3.3 overs. The right-arm pacer floored the visitors with his batting effort and guided his team to a big win.
