PAK vs NZ: Shaheen Afridi trolled on Twitter for dropping pace below 140kmph

The bowler was rendered ineffective during the match in Rawalpindi as he went wicketless during his first spell in the game while fans pointed out the drop in his pace. Earlier during the five-match T20 series, he took six wickets while Pakistan conceded a 2-0 lead to the visitors to share the series.

Shaheen Afridi

Afridi earlier made a return to international cricket with the series as the prolonged knee injury forced him to miss the Asia Cup before his return in the T20 World Cup in Australia. The left-handed pacers struggled to gain complete fitness and aggravated the injury further.

He remained out of action before he returned at the Pakistan Super League to lead his team Lahore Qalandars to a second successive title. Afridi took 19 wickets during the tournament as the fourth-highest wicket-taker behind young Pakistan pacers Ihsanullah and Abbas Afridi.
