KKR have accumulated 4 points after three games and are making strides forward after a disappointing last season. Sunrisers, on the other hand, will be in high spirits after getting their first victory of the season against Punjab.
Both teams had to appoint new captains for this season. In KKR’s case, it was a forced one as Shreyas Iyer is unavailable due to injury, while Sunrisers appointed Aiden Markram after releasing Kane Williamson prior to this season.

KKR vs SRH IPL 2023: Match Prediction
KKR managed a Houdini act in the last match as Rinku Singh rose from the ruins to snatch an amazing victory. Although it is unclear how the Knights will be shaping up for the upcoming game, there are areas they need to improve this season.
Nitish Rana and his boys will have to come out of their unpredictability tag and showcase a collectively convincing performance against SRH. The Knights have a fantastic squad and some genuine match-winners in Andre Russell and Sunil Narine, they will have to perform as well.
Sunrisers managed to break their losing streak and registered a thumping win over Punjab. With the introduction of Aiden Markram, they have looked much more potent outfit and will aim to get a result against KKR. Their record against KKR is not that good as the Bengal-based franchise have had an upper hand over the Orange army.
Considering all the components, we believe Kolkata Knight Riders are clear favourites to win this match, but SRH can surely surprise the hosts.
KKR vs SRH Head to Head in IPL
These two teams have met 23 times in IPL, and the Knight Riders have an overwhelming advantage of 15 wins, compared to SRH’s 8.
Sunrisers win the last meeting between these two sides last year, but it is their solitary victory over KKR in seven matches. With Eden Gardens in the frame, it will be an uphill task for Aiden Markram and his team to get a positive result.
