The IPL digital platform released a video segment where the Gujarat Titans batter answered various questions – from favourite food, best friend to three players he would invite for dinner.
Shubman Gill, when asked about his favourite food, says he loves to engross his taste buds in authentic Punjabi cuisine, with Laccha Paratha and Butter Chicken being his go-to cheat meal.
Gill was also asked to define the T20 format in a word, and he replied ‘Fast’. The Titans batter also reveals the greatest non-cricketing skill he has is playing FIFA Video Games and the player claims he is a good gamer.
Then the India star was asked about three players he would like to invite for dinner, and the player revealed there will be two India legends and one West Indies legend in his dinner party. And they are Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli and Vivian Richards.
When asked about someone he can contact even at 3 am in the night, the player replied, “Ishan Kishan”.
Gill, who has played for Kolkata Knight Riders in the past, is a Punjabi-origin player, and engages himself with many Punjabi tracks. The player revealed there are many songs in his Punjabi playlist and he can’t name one.
Upon asking about three things he can’t live without, Gill replied, “Wallet, Family and Phone”.
The 23-year-old batter has amassed 2128 runs in IPL in 80 matches. He has scored at a healthy average of 32, and a strike rate of 126.5. Gill, in his IPL career, has also scored 16 fifties with his highest score being 96.
