IPL 2023: Ravindra Jadeja takes cheeky dig at CSK fans after winning ‘most valuable asset’ of match award

Jadeja got two awards for firing CSK in their record-extending 10th IPL final. Sharing his picture while receiving the ‘Upstox Most Valuable Player of the Match’, Jadeja wrote, ” Upstox knows but..some fans don’t.”

The 34-year-old was also given the ‘Dream11 Gamechanger of the Match’ award. The two awards surely pumped up Jadeja who wasted no time in taking a sly dig at CSK fans.

Notably, Jadeja earlier this season has expressed his displeasure about crowds cheering his dismissal to welcome CSK captain Dhoni. Later, he has liked a fan tweet claiming that he is emotionally hurt due to the fans who don’t acknowledge his effort for the team.

“I keep hearing chants of Mahi (MS Dhoni) bhai. If I bat higher, then the crowd will wait for me to get out.”

A cryptic ‘Karma will get back at you’ tweet from him a day after CSK qualified for the playoffs had also gone viral. Fans had related the tweet to his ‘strained relations’ with Dhoni and CSK.

A video of Jadeja and Dhoni talking seriously over something had also gone viral after CSK’s win over Delhi Capitals (DC) in their last league match.

Jadeja has picked 19 wickets in 15 matches at an average of 20.68 and an economy rate of 7.41. With the bat, he has scored 175 runs at an average of 21.87 and a strike rate of 137.79.
