LSG vs MI IPL 2023 Eliminator: Match Prediction

Lucknow Super Giants finished the group stage in the 3rd position with 17 points, whereas Mumbai Indians sneaked through as the last team to qualify for playoffs with 16 points.

It has been a fantastic LSG performance which has taken them to the playoffs yet again. Mumbai Indians also have roared back to form after a dismal last season, where they finished at the bottom of the table.

MI and LSG met in the penultimate match of the group stage, and LSG prevailed by 5 runs. It was a close encounter and it promises to be the same in the Eliminator. Lucknow have a decent squad whereas MI have shown their batting prowess with four 200+ run chases this season.

But the Chepauk is poised to provide a much more challenging deck and LSG’s supreme quality of spin can thrive in that. MI do possess excellent talent when it comes to batting, but dealing with the likes of Ravi Bishnoi, Krunal Pandya and co. will be a big task.

And considering the conditions and form, we reckon Lucknow Super Giants have a bigger chance to win the match.

MI LSG Head to Head in IPL

These two teams have met 3 times in IPL, and LSG have won all of those three meetings so far.
