They are up against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the next match but injuries can be a big issue for them ahead of the match. CSK have kept on losing players this IPL and the latest to their list is skipper MS Dhoni.
MS Dhoni failed to win the match for his team as Royals held on to get a 3-run victory. Dhoni was not usual self in the running as the veteran looked slower in between the wickets. And after the match, CSK coach Stephen Flemming confirmed the veteran is nursing a knee injury.
This has heightened the concern among the CSK fans as their ‘Thala’ may be out of the next clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore. There are many players who are already out of action for specific periods of time, and any potential injury for Dhoni could be a big blow for them.
But CSK CEO has confirmed MS Dhoni will play the match against RCB, while Ben Stokes will be fit by April 30th.
Sisanda Magala is out for at least a week, while their star bowler Deepak Chahar is set to miss a couple of weeks as well. Their mega-signing Ben Stokes is recovering from an issue and missed the last match, while Mukesh Choudhary, Kyle Jamieson are already out of the tournament.
