KL Rahul-led LSG will look to carry on their winning momentum after securing their third win of the season, while Shikhar Dhawan-led PBKS will look to bounce back after suffering back to back defeats.
In the recent outings, LSG pulled off a huge run-chase of 213 off the last ball against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Bengaluru. The Lucknow-based side opened their campaign with a victory over Delhi Capitals and followed that with an away loss to CSK.
However, the LSG side responded with back-to-back away wins, starting with a 5-wicket win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad before a 1-wicket win over RCB in Bengaluru.
PBKS, on the other hand, suffered a 6-wicket loss to defending champions Gujarat Titans in Mohali before an away loss to SRH in Hyderabad. Before the two defeats, PBKS had beaten KKR at home in a rain-affected match followed by an away victory against Rajasthan Royals.
This will be the second meeting between the two sides in IPL. LSG beat PBKS in the only meeting last season. This will also be the first between the two sides at the BRSABV Stadium, which hosts it’s third IPL match.
