In white-ball cricket too, Rahul scored match-winning 75 unbeaten runs against Australia in March before following it up with scores of 9 and 32 in the next two matches. At the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday, Rahul’s knock had almost cost LSG the match before Marcus Stoinis (65 off 30) and Nicholas Pooran (62 off 19) rescued the team.
