Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans bounced back from demoralising defeat to Kolkata Knight Riders with a victory over Punjab Kings, while Sanju Samson-led Rajasthan Royals made it back to back wins following a blip with victory over Delhi Capitals and Chennai Super Kings.

GT, who opened their campaign with a win over CSK, registered a victory over DC before being stunned by KKR. But the defending champions seem to have corrected their course quickly with a win over PBKS.

RR, meanwhile, opened their campaign with a convincing win over Sunrisers Hyderabad before being pegged back by a defeat to PBKS. The inaugural champions, however, have bounced back in style winning two of two.

Shubman Gill (GT): With 183 runs, including two fifties to his name so far this season, Gill will carry on his splendid form of 2023 into the match against RR and end up as the player with most runs for the Titans.

Jos Buttler (RR): Last season’s Orange Cap winner, Buttler has continued to pile on runs in the new season as well, scoring 204 runs, including three fifties. The Royals opener will continue scoring at a brisk pace for his team and end up as the top run-scorer on the day.

Sai Sudarshan (GT): The best uncapped batter so far this season, Sai Sudarshan has struck two fifties with an aggregate of 156 run in 4 innings. The Tamil Nadu batter has enjoyed sharing stands with GT top order and is expected to carry his form.

Sanju Samson (RR): The RR skipper registered a duck in the previous outing and will be keen to make a mark soon. Samson has scored one fifty for a total of 97 runs in 4 innings. He is due a big knock, and Ahmedabad wicket maybe where he gets it.
