Notably, the India pacer played his first IPL match after the 2021 season on April 13 against Punjab Kings. Last year he spent time with GT as a net bowler. Mohit, who was featured in the 2015 World Cup for India, picked two wickets for 18 runs against Punjab and was adjudged Man of the Match.

Mohit, who last represented India in 2015, has now four wickets to his name in three IPL 2023 at an average of 10.50 and an economy rate of 4.66. Fans has hailed the experienced campaigner for spic comeback and redemption.
