CSK vs GT IPL 2023: 4 Players Who Will Score Most Runs In Today’s Match


The two sides clashed against each other in the IPL 2023 opener on March 31 as Gujarat Titans defeated Chennai Super Kings by five wickets. The winner of Qualifier 1 will directly enter the final of the IPL 2023. The losing team will get one more chance to book a final berth in Qualifier 2 which will be played on May 26.

As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the second time in the IPL 2023, let’s have a look at four players who can score most runs in the match.

Devon Conway: The New Zealand star is the leading run-scorer for CSK at the moment. In 14 IPL 2023 matches, he has scored 585 runs in 14 matches at an average of 53.18 and a strike rate of 138.62.

Conway could score just one run in his first outing against GT this season. Conway has scores of 87, 30, 10 and 44 in his last four innings for CSK. He has played two matches against GT and scored six runs at a strike rate of 40. In his six matches in Chennai, Conway has scored 350 runs at an average of 70 and a strike rate of 135.13.

Ruturaj Gaikwad: The CSK opener is the second-highest run-scorer for his team and one of the only eight batters who has crossed the 500-run mark this season. Gaikwad has scores of 79, 17, 24 and 30 in his last four outings.

In the IPL 2023 opener against GT, Gaikwad blasted 92 runs off just 50 balls. CSK would be expecting the same from him once again. In seven matches at Chepauk, the right-hander has scored 208 runs at an average of 29.71 and a strike rate of 139.59.

Shubman Gill: Another in-form opener who will be in action on Tuesday. Shubman Gill has scored two back-to-back hundreds and is high on confidence. The 23-year-old would be aiming to fire his team directly in the IPL 2023 final.

In 14 matches so far, he has scored 680 runs at an average of 56.66 and a strike rate of 56.66. Only Faf du Plessis (730) has scored more runs than him in the IPL 2023. In the previous meeting against CSK this season, Gill scored 63 off 36 balls. Overall, he has played 11 matches against CSK and scored 259 runs at an average of 25.90 and a strike rate of 129.50.

Wriddhiman Saha: The veteran cricketer has a knack of scoring in big games and the IPL 2023 Qualifier 1 will provide him that perfect opportunity. In IPL 2023, he has played 14 matches and scored 287 runs at an average of 22.07 and a strike rate of 129.86. Shah has featured in 15 matches against CSK and scored 278 runs at an average of 30.88 and a strike rate of 118.80.
