DDP claims that his 2014 documentary, The Resurrection of Jake the Snake, gave him the idea to make a Jake Roberts biopic.

It’s possible that Jake “The Snake” Roberts’ story will be made into a feature film. Roberts is regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers in pro wrestling history for his work in the 1980s and 1990s at WWF (now WWE). The legendary grappler can currently be seen on All Elite Wrestling programming. He is adored by fans and was influential for many wrestlers who came into the business after him. The WWE Hall of Famer, whose signature move was the DDT, has worked for WCW, ECW, and TNA, among other well-known wrestling organizations.
Roberts’ struggles with his demons behind the scenes are also well-known, and when he was featured in the 1999 documentary Beyond the Mat, a lot of people learned about them. Until Diamond Dallas Page intervened, the wrestler struggled with addiction and deteriorating health for years. Page, a former wrestler, adopted Roberts in 2012 and worked with him for years to overcome his addictions and improve his health as a whole. The acclaimed documentary The Resurrection of Jake the Snake highlights Roberts’ successful rehabilitation, which he claimed saved his life.
Now, there is a possibility that a biopic based on The Resurrection of Jake the Snake will be made and shown in theaters. Page said in a recent interview with ComingSoon.net that he has been approached about making the documentary into a scripted biopic. He added that he is “super excited” about the possibility and appears to have a lot of faith that it will happen.
I have been working on a personal project. We released The Resurrection of Jake the Snake in 2014, in case anyone has ever seen it. That documentary possesses a great deal of power. I’ve recently been approached about making that a movie, which will be a scripted film that will be shown on a big screen because the story is great. Therefore, I’m very excited about that.”

Page continues to assist others by utilizing DDP Yoga. Even though Page no longer resides in the house that was featured in The Resurrection of Jake the Snake, he claims that he has retained it and is using it as the setting for a forthcoming television series. Five people with various ailments are brought in for the show, and Page helps them improve their lives through DDP Yoga.
“Another show that we started filming is called Change or Die. It is a documentary series. We bring five people into the same house where we shot The Resurrection of Jake the Snake. Have you ever seen it? So I kept the same house with six bedrooms… Change or Die brought five people into the house and filmed them over a four-month period.
